For a personal plan, add ㄹ 거예요 after a vowel-ending stem or 을 거예요 after a consonant-ending stem: 가다 → 갈 거예요, 먹다 → 먹을 거예요. 하다 becomes 할 거예요.

갔어요, 먹었어요, 했어요: familiar past actions →어제 학교에 갔어요.

I went to school yesterday.

Notice the pattern

Leave a space before 거예요: 갈 거예요. The correct spelling here is 거예요, not 거에요. This construction can also express a prediction; these examples are explicitly personal plans. Stems ending in ㄹ have their own attachment behavior and are outside this small set.
