A friend asks why you cannot come today.
일이 있어서 오늘은 못 가요.
I have work, so I can’t go today.
Notice the pattern
Use -아/어서 to connect a reason to its result. 일이 있어요 becomes 일이 있어서. With 바쁘다, use 바빠서. Say the reason first.
Try it yourself
Tell your friend why you cannot come today.
Build the Korean sentence: “I have work, so I can’t go today.”
…
RETRIEVE BEFORE YOU REVEAL
Say it in your own time.

일이 있어서 오늘은 못 가요.
Your speaking check is self-reported. Pronunciation is not recorded or graded.
